Introduction Creative dance is concerned with evolving rhythms and patterns of movement which can symbolise or represent human activity. It can spring from anything in human experience but the ‘expression' is always in terms of movement. A dancer uses rhythms and shapes in the same way that a painter might use colours and textures.
